Choosing a design for a JoomShopping store? This collection covers complete Joomla templates and separate component templates. Compare compatibility, pricing and package contents to find an option for a new store or an update to an existing website.
What to check before choosing
A Joomla template defines the website design, while a JoomShopping template controls the store pages. These solutions can complement each other, but their installation and update processes differ.
Information was checked on 20 October 2026 against the available official developer pages. Compatibility reflects their claims and changelogs; we have not installation-tested every package.
Before purchasing, check the following:
- Joomla and JoomShopping versions. Joomla 6 support in a template does not guarantee compatibility with every store add-on.
- Package contents. Quick view, wishlists, filters and checkout features may depend on separate extensions. Not everything shown in a demo is included in the price.
- Quickstart. This is a bundle for deploying a new website with demo data. An existing store needs separate installation packages.
- Update date. Older specifications sometimes appear alongside a newer changelog. Check the details of the specific package.
- Licensing and support. Confirm the number of permitted websites, the update access period and the terms for using a staging domain.
The prices below are indicative. The final amount depends on the licence, additional services and purchase conditions.
SmartAddons options for Joomla 6
These templates claim Joomla 6 support. They provide a complete website design and prepared store pages. Compare the catalogue, product page, cart and checkout as well as the home page.
SJ Entry
A new addition to this collection, Entry is a multipurpose store template for clothing, accessories, electronics and mixed catalogues. The developer lists JoomShopping integration, product quick view, a wishlist and several catalogue layouts.
Joomla 6Paid

- Type: Joomla template with JoomShopping integration.
- Compatibility: the current description lists Joomla 6.1.x and JoomShopping 6.1.x.
- Price: the developer lists an indicative price of $29.
- Key point: a newer alternative to the older multipurpose designs in this collection.
Check the contents of the current package before purchasing. Entry documentation still includes Joomla 5 sections, while the product description has already been updated for Joomla 6.
SJ Xtore
A multipurpose store design built on Helix Ultimate. Consider it if you need ready-made product sections and the ability to change page structure through the template settings.

The following templates remain in the collection for existing Joomla 5 projects. Joomla 6 support could not be confirmed on the checked pages. This does not prove incompatibility, but you should ask the developer before purchasing.
SJ Silk
A design for clothing and accessories stores where product photography and a relatively restrained catalogue presentation matter.

Golf combines a golf-themed website with a store. Consider it for a sports club, course or equipment retailer if that structure matches the project.

The page does not specify the exact JoomShopping version. Confirm it before purchasing and review the demo store pages.
Templates for the JoomShopping component
These solutions change the component design. They are useful when you are happy with the website appearance but need to revise the catalogue, product pages or cart.
JoomShopping Template Flex9
A commercial template from the JoomShopping developer. It replaces the broad “Templates +” entry with a specific product whose requirements and package contents are documented.

The package lists an AJAX cart, extended filter, AJAX wishlist, quantity buttons and Search plus. The Quick checkout and Ask question add-ons shown in the demo are not included.
The licence is tied to a domain. Ask separately about use on a staging address.
JoomShopping Bootstrap5
A free component template from Nevigen for websites using Bootstrap 5. It provides a starting point for customising a store, rather than a complete website design.

The checked page does not claim Joomla 5 or 6 support. For these versions, first obtain confirmation from the developer or test the package on a staging copy.
What has changed in this collection
SJ Entry has been added, and Flex9 now has its own description. GoStore, Xtore and JoomShop have been updated to reflect releases with Joomla 6 support.
The broad “Joomshopping Templates +” entry is no longer presented as a single product. That catalogue contains different paid and free solutions with their own requirements. One product's compatibility cannot be applied to the others.
The free Black, defaultg, defaultDiv and responsive templates are not included in the main selection for modern stores: the catalogue lists older JoomShopping branches for them. Use with a current version requires separate verification.
Which template should you choose?
Start by deciding which part of the website needs to change.
- A new multipurpose store: compare SJ Entry, SJ Xtore and SJ JoomShop.
- An electronics store: consider SJ GoStore.
- An existing Joomla 5 website: assess SJ Silk, SJ JMart and SJ TopDeal with the project's future upgrade path in mind.
- A sports website with a store: review Hot Golf.
- Updating only the JoomShopping pages: consider Flex9.
- A free foundation for customisation: explore Nevigen Bootstrap5, taking its listed requirements into account.
Before making a final decision, test the entire customer journey: finding a product, selecting a variant, adding it to the cart, choosing delivery, paying and receiving an order confirmation. Repeat the checks on a phone and a computer. Ease of purchasing and the ability to keep the store updated matter more than an impressive home page.
