JSitemap Pro is a paid multifunctional component that includes a large set of SEO tools for Joomla, one of which is a powerful Sitemap file generator. Unlike OSMap (or the outdated Xmap and mapX), JSitemap does not require additional plugins.

Description

The JSitemap component allows you to create adaptive sitemaps in HTML format, as well as all possible types of Sitemap files in XML format:

  • standard sitemap;
  • for mobile devices;

  • for Google News.

Like other Joomla sitemap generators, JSitemap updates sitemap files as content is added and changed on your site. But creating a sitemap is just one of the features in the extension's arsenal.

Functionality

Let's look at all the functions presented in the Functionalities section:

  1. Sitemap Data Sources.
    Here are the data sources for the sitemap. By default, sources from the menu and com_content are automatically created.
  2. Wizard Data Sources.
    Allows you to select a new data source for the sitemap from the list of components.
  3. Show raw XML Sitemaps.
    View XML sitemaps without additional styles and information for users.
  4. Show formatted XML Sitemaps.
    View XML sitemaps with formatting and additional information.
  5. Export XML Sitemap.
    Save the sitemap as an XML file to your local computer.
  6. Analyze sitemap links.
    Analyzes links in the sitemap, determines the link source (component), the corresponding data according to the Sitemap XML standard (Last Modified, Change Frequency, Priority), as well as the indexing status of pages in search engines and the HTTP code.
  7. SEO Spider.
    Analyzes pages in the sitemap and displays on the screen:

    Here you can replace the values ​​of the Title tags, Description and Robots meta tags for pages included in the sitemap, and also add images to the pages using the Open Graph protocol.
  9. Google indexing tester.
    Here you can find out what text Google uses in snippets of the pages of the current site.
  10. Datasets.
    Here you can combine individual data sources into groups. These groups can then be used to create navigation modules in various forms. For example, you can include the JoomShopping category in the data group and place it as a navigation module.
  11. Robots.txt Editor.
    The robots.txt file editor directly in the Joomla admin panel.
  12. .htaccess Editor.
    Allows you to edit the .htaccess file in the Joomla admin panel.
  13. Ping-O-Matic Links.
