Extensions for Joomla, responsible for translating the corresponding functionality (Joomla core or other extensions). As a rule, language packs are included in the extension set, but sometimes a separate installation of the language may be required.
Language packs include INI files containing key = value pairs for static text strings (language constants), and may also contain an XML installation file if the language pack is installed separately from the extension.
