Adds a quick access icon for editing the .htaccess file.

Description

The Htaccess Editor plugin adds a quick-access icon to the main Joomla administrator dashboard for editing the .htaccess file in a modal window using the CodeMirror editor.

Features:

  • editing the .htaccess file in a modal window directly from the main Joomla administrator dashboard,
  • using the CodeMirror editor for syntax highlighting,
  • saving versions of the .htaccess file with the ability to quickly restore them,
  • saving changes via Ajax without reloading the page,
  • the ability to restore the default robots.txt file included with Joomla.
